About the Editor
Editing is second nature after more than 30 years of professional experience working on minutes, board papers, training manuals, and all types of correspondence. I spent decades ensuring whatever form of written content that left my office was correct, alongside my other duties whilst working in multinational and global companies. Outside of the day job I also edited and proofread copy for various groups that I have belonged to.
This is not work for me; I gain immense satisfaction from helping my clients unlock their full potential and present the best of themselves to their intended audience, without compromising their unique voice.
A British-born-and-bred cat parent, I am a retired senior personal assistant and a natural problem solver and grammar nerd. I love to read many different genres including romance, thriller, supernatural fantasy and mythology, and I also enjoy “proper” quiz programmes (Mastermind, University Challenge, Only Connect and The Chase. Alright, and Tipping Point).
How did I become a copyeditor and proofreader? Let me tell you a story...
“The written word may be man's greatest invention. It allows us to converse with the dead, the absent, and the unborn.”
― Abraham Lincoln
